It is such a wonderful opportunity to introduce to you the beautiful emirate of Dubai, where we live in. It is the land of diversity and beauty which applies to both places and its people.
Dubai, is part of the seven emirates in the country of UAE (United Arab Emirates). It is a bustling city of towering skyscrapers where many dreams are made of. It is also a favorite destination for many vibrant tourists enjoying the many sights which Dubai has to offer. Not to mention, it is home to the tallest building in the whole world which is called the Burj Khalifa, towering a height of 829 meters.
Dubai isn’t just all about skyscrapers. It is so diverse that this place has so many things to offer. We have so many beautiful beaches such as Jumeirah Beach where another Dubai icon is situated which is the Burj Al Arab.
We also have a beautiful Oasis of sand dunes where anyone can enjoy a thrill-seeking adventure of the Desert Safari, served with a sumptuous lunch buffet.
If you fancy themed parks then your plane ticket to Dubai is so worth it.
- It has Dubai Parks & Resorts which in itself has 4 themed parks in it namely:
- Motiongate Dubai
- Legoland Dubai
- Legoland Water Park
- Bollywood Dubai
- That’s not yet done in the list because we have :
- IMG World of Adventure
- Virtual Reality Park
- Columbia Pictures Dubai
- Wild Wadi Waterpark
- Miracle Garden
- Global Village
- And I should not forget the marvelous Atlantis, The Palm where Aquaventure Water Park will amaze us with rides, slides and even sharks! Yes, it has a shark lagoon! 🙂
As I mentioned, your plane ticket is worth it if you love themed parks. We have neighboring emirates which also is a home of world-class themed parks. You must visit the capital emirate of UAE which is the Abu Dhabi. It is approximately 1 1/2 hour of travel from Dubai. It houses the fastest roller coaster in the world which is the Formula Rossa in Ferrari World! Just a few kilometers from Ferrari World is the Yas Island Waterpark and Warner Brothers!
As I am writing about the beautiful emirate where I lived in, I realized I might be writing in hours or days just to cover everything that our beautiful city has to offer. If I haven’t convinced you yet to visit us here, I’m no longer sure what will. 🙂
How about you, where do you live? Can you share with us inspiring thoughts about the place you live?
PS: This is requested by our cousin to write about a geography journal of the place where we live in and it was a pretty good exercise to reflect how beautiful our second home is.
